Dear friends,
Thank you all for coming today and make
this historical Sri Lankan musical event a success. For the first time
in California or may be the whole World, over forty Sri Lankan
musicians, singers and dancers have come together to perform for FREE.
In a day and time where war, hatred, segregation and division have
engulf the entire word, it is so refreshing to see Love, Compassion and
Harmony not to mention great music and dance on a rare day like today. I
am so privileged to have such generous friends who helped to make this
dream of mine a reality. For all those who bought a ticket, sold a
ticket, place an advertisement, contributed your talent in many ways and
bought our CD or donated anonymously, you may never know the individuals
who will receive an artificial limb due to your contribution, but just
imagine how they will feel when they take the first step with that new
Jaipur leg. It was all possible because of your good intent and action.
You just might be able to take that feeling with you beyond time and
space.
My deepest gratitude to the
